e92: black roof frame stips

anybody wants to swap his black frame strips to my chrome?
Or does anyone know where to get ones?
Not sure if I want to pay 700eur for the new set))

Good luck, would say with 99% probability you will never find anyone willing to do that swap

Furthermore, the rails are extremely hard to strip without damaging them.

Unless you want to pay that 700 Eur for the new, I recommend going lame and plastdipping or taping the rails. Seen some examples, not that bad looking even if done professional.

No coating, no films. Is very unstable against scratches and washing.

Best option IMHO is to hunt for those at car dismantlers or ebay. Failing that, it's time to shell out the cash. Try asking Autohaus Pielmeier, they'll generally tend be cheaper even with postage fees compared to KL-Varaosat or main dealership.
