If you guys are looking to take off the entire mirror assembly, its pretty straight forward-but the door panel will have to come off. I disconnected my battery as a precaution with the side airbags. First, remove the trim around the top of the door that covers the A pillar speaker. There are a few screws, rest is press fit. For the door panel itself (unforunately must also come off) basically, there is just one screw IIRC behind a panel near the interior door handle. You remove that and the lower door panel will need to be unsnapped from the plastic rivets that go around the perimeter. Once these are popped loose, pry out the window switch and unplug it, and orient the interior door handle so you can slide it though the door panel. This should give you enough room to access the screws on the inside of the mirror--so either have a buddy hold the panel for you while you swap the mirrors (3 screws), or disconnect the remaining speaker wires and pull the door panel the entire way off. Make sure you put all the gaskets back when reinstalling the new mirror--I saw mine on the garage floor right after i put the door panel/everything else back on. Doing a job twice, FTW!
Also, if anyone is wondering about the side airbags, they are attached to the doors themselves, so you don't have to mess with any airbag wires when pulling the panel off--the leather cover on the interior panel is just that--a cover
