Your car (and this includes cars running the MS42/MS43/MS45/ME7.2/MSS52/MSS54 ECU systems) has an electronic throttle body. The ECU 'learns' the throttle's idle position, and adapts as needed. When you cleared the global adaption (by hitting F7 in your case) you also cleared the throttle body adaption. So now, the ECU really doesn't know where the idle position of the TB should be.
So, the way to have it relearn the base position after clearing the adaption is:
- turn the ignition key on, but don't start the car. Wait for 30 seconds. DO NOT PRESS ON THE THROTTLE DURING THIS TIME.
- turn the ignition key off. Wait for ~20-30 seconds.
Now you're ready to start the car and all should be well.Comment
