China is doing everything now. May be we (Russians) should permit them making our roads
I heard the Chinese had started producing a copy of BMW 3 series. There are some different details of the body and we have a genuine chinese car

I know that they make some car here, that looks like 3-series Bmw. Itīs beautiful car though. Also here have some special "China only" models, that are genuine Bmw.

Yup, it ainīt nice. Just because some people find driving a bit insecure when itīs slippery. I think that it makes driving more difficult for these "unsecure" drivers when some places have been salted and some havenīt. They should try driving at closed areas or something, or then take the bus. We have good public transportation here.

When I look at my car now, when it havenīt been washed, I can see these white lines all over the paint. It is salt stains....no wonder why the cars rust away so fast. Itīs an environmental hazard too.

They should forbid spreading salt by a law.

You are right. I also think that unspreading by the salt will be more useful for the environment. But we talk about it as drivers with an experience. It would be interesting to listen people who start driving.
But I think in Finland you can solve such a problem.

In opposite in Russia We have so many problems with the roads (and so many people) that salt isn't the main

I agree with you about that white shit but it needs sometimes (not for a long time as we have) (excepting this winter )

You donīt believe how much salt they strew over the roads here...at least in southern Finland. When its warmer than about -7 so all roads are salted and when you wash your car you canīt drive at all without it beeing dirty again.

You don't believe that we have salted roads at -20 and colder. It's really true! You drive having you front window dirty without a chance to wash it (antifreezing water is not useful sometimes).
It's fun but it is true. I think our road's services don't have any thermometers (or may be their brains don't work at such temperatures )

It is a long time, perhaps in 5 years when i drive to Vyborg and it was rained ca. 5 cm snow to road. I see a russian "truck" which salted road and "clean" the snowy road with that kind not plough, only a lot of salt to road, it was funny to see.

I have visited once in St. Petersburg, very nice BIG city with lots of historical buildings and of course flat and long streets.. And of course, a policepatrol on a every corner
I will visit again sometimes.

I wanna ask which kind of BMW second hand spare and -equipment part situation is in St. Petersburg and overall in Russia? It looks like all used cars and a part of new cars is going to Russia so i think that there's a lots of good used and maybe rare specialparts. Sometimes i have searched a scrab yard company in Viborg but nothing founded

You are right. It is comically for you, but we live with it every winter They think if snow is strewn (it doesn't matter how much snow is ), it will disappear. Like in farytails. I hope that somthing will change but don't know really:think

I don't know about Viborg, but of cource we have some firms which sell second hand spare parts from crashed cars. Did you mean this or something else?

e36 spare parts

How are you? Itīs nice to recognice russian members in this forum.
I bought ATE brake parts (brake discs and brake pads) for my 325i coupe just for 180 euros in St.Petersburg. In Finland, I caught an offer for the same brake parts from company TRW for 300 euros!
Itīs amazing me, how do You have such inexpensive prices there. I know, that many parts come there from Finland, and also You have direct import from Germany. But still, the difference in prices is amazing.
Anyway, Iīm going to work in St. Petersburg very soon and my BMW will be seen there, so Iīm happy to buy further spare parts from Your town.
