E28 535 Turbo?

I dont speak finnish very much, so l dont understand everything that is written in some interesting threads. I would like to know if somebody has turbod a 3.5 160kw, 10.0 compression ratio engine in finland, with stock internals, if not then how much power would you make with E34 3.5 engine with 9.0 compression ratio with stock internals, and what turbo to use?

There are a few turboed M30 engines here. Nobody has turboed e28 3.5 with 10:1 CR but few M30s from E34 / E32 with 9:1 CR has been turboed and they make 400-600hp depending on boost. Stock internals can take that, but it gets hard on head gasket..

No idea what turbo you should use but 3.5 litres with 1 bar of boost requires quite big turbo.

Maybe you should read some US / UK forums like www.r3vlimited.com , www.bimmerforums.com , www.e30zone.net . There are quite a lot of turbo projects and especially swedes have turboed almost every engine (www.pure-pf.com , though those pages are in swedish :( )

There's one e24 m30b34 10:1 that has stock internals.. same motor with e28..
there's kompressor under the hood.. if i remember right there was 0.4bar 224bhp and 470nm

actuali this m30b34 motor has 9,2:1 compression ratio and 0,42bar 320hp and 472nm and it has stock internals. with better brething exhaustpipe horsepowrs would be something more =)

i meant 324hp but didn't know real compression
