    Moottoripajan näkemys vioista:

    Problems:
    The BMW crankshaft has too much play, which can cause engine damage
    The oil pump breaks down frequently
    Some models still drive with a camshaft that has material defects
    Defective valve train
    The timing chain was installed in new models with a different part number that can cause a whistle from the engine compartment and even lead to engine damage.
    The old timing chain was replaced by a different timing chain from 01/2015 onwards.
    The timing chain tensioner can no longer provide enough resistance and the timing chain can skip. The consequences are usually a valve and cylinder head damage. In many cases there is also engine failure.
    Connecting rod bearings - mostly cylinders 2 - 3 damaged, easy to recognize by a metallic knocking in the engine even when idling, short jerk while driving. Result engine failure.
    Many BMW vehicles have suffered engine damage or an engine problem from 65,000 kilometers.

      Olisi kiikarissa 10/2017 valmistettu hybridi X5, jossa N20B20 moottori.
      530e:ssä ja 330e:ssä näyttäisi olevan B48X. Onko tuo B48X ratkaisevasti luotettavampi kone, eli pitäisikö jo yksin sen vuoksi unohtaa X5, vai uskaltaako noihin myöhäisempiin N20 koskea?

      BMW 335i (e90)
      BMW 323iC (e36)
      BMW 850i (e31)
      Golf GTE
      ex: bemareita katkeamattomana jonona vuodesta ’95 mallisarjoista r50, r53, e30, e34, e36, e46, e61, e90, f07, g30 ja pari tusinaa väärän merkkistä
