Ei kait rengaspaineenvalvonta ole enää kymmeneen vuoteen ollut sidoksissa ABS:ään millään tavalla?

NewTis:ssä ei ole i4:sta, mutta iX:n sivuilta:

General:

• The tyre size, manufacturer and tyre tread must be the same on one axle
• To meet the BMW standards, the vehicle should be equipped with tyres from the same manufacturer and with the same tyre tread (tyres approved by BMW) on all 4 wheels
• The difference in tyre tread depth on one axle must not exceed 2 mm (control quality of suspension control systems and wheel alignment requirement)
• The tyres with the higher tread depths must be mounted on the rear axle
• The DOT age difference must not exceed 4 years
• The tyre pressure must be adjusted when the tyres are exchanged
• Wheel exchange between the axles
  The wheels may be exchanged between axles to achieve even abrasion. However, BMW does not recommend switching the front wheels to the rear or vice-versa.
  The wheel exchange may lead to the following customer complaints:
  • complaints regarding acoustics
  • Risk of increased lane groove sensitivity
  
  Compliance with the following requirements is required when exchanging wheels between the axles:
  • Tyre size and rim size identical on front and rear axle
  • Assess the wear pattern
  • The tread difference between the front and rear wheels must not exceed a maximum of 2-3 mm
  • Exchange the wheels between the axles every 5000 Km

”Tyre size and rim size identical on front and rear axle”. Tämä ei ainakaan päde I4:n kohdalla kun jo vakio rengastus on eri kokoinen akseleiden välillä (245/40 & 255/40).

Se että renkaan tyhjenemistä seurataan paineanturein ei tarkoita sitä etteikö auto kalibroisi ABS antureita aina kun renkaat kuitataan vaihdetuksi / rengaspaineet kuitataan...

Jo polttomoottoriaikaan pyörimisero etu- ja taka-akseleiden välillä sai olla aika iso ilman että auto mitenkään siihen reagoi muuten kuin nykivällä jakolaatikolla. Jos nelikossa
olisi todella isot kehäerot niin polttiksessa se herjaisi jakolaatikon kuumenemisesta (vaikka ei siellä anturia lämpötilalle ole), kokemusta on kun erääsee F11n oli päätynyt
väärä etuperä...

”Tyre size and rim size identical on front and rear axle”. Tämä ei ainakaan päde I4:n kohdalla kun jo vakio rengastus on eri kokoinen akseleiden välillä (245/40 & 255/40).

Tämä oli siis kohdassa, jos vaihdat renkaat edestä taakse eli eteen ei tietenkään leveämpää rengasta kuin taakse.

Vakiona on talvirenkaita ja 17-tuumaisia lukuunottamatta erikokoista eli 245/45R18 & 255/45R18, 245/40R19 & 255/40R19 sekä 245/35R20 & 255/35R20.

Juuri näin, ja tuossa ohjeistetaan pitämään vanne ja rengaskoko samana molemmilla akseleilla. Anyways, kysymys oli siis että voiko laittaa 245/35R20 & 265/35R20 pyöriä kyseiseen autoon. Alkuperäiset rengaskoot on kyllä tiedossa.

Juuri näin, ja tuossa ohjeistetaan pitämään vanne ja rengaskoko samana molemmilla akseleilla. Anyways, kysymys oli siis että voiko laittaa 245/35R20 & 265/35R20 pyöriä kyseiseen autoon. Alkuperäiset rengaskoot on kyllä tiedossa.

En nyt siis tiedä, miten sulle englanti taipuu, mutta tuossa sanotaan vain ja ainoastaan, että jos vaihdat renkaan edestä taakse tai takaa eteen eli eri akselilta toiselle, pitää renkaan ja vanteen koon olla sama. Ei mitään muuta.

Siinä ei sanota, ettei renkaat voisi yleisesti olla eri kokoisia edessä ja takana.

Ei täällä varmaan kukaan osaa absoluuttsta totuutta sanoa voiko laittaa. Varmaan turha kysymys mutta miksi sinne pitää 265 laittaa? 255 huomattavasti halvempi kumi.

Noo tuossa olisi nurkissa sopivasti 265 kumit mutta jääköön nurkkiin jos tulee ehdoton tuomio..
